The Boning Knife is part of the IKON collection by Wusthof. As the Collection name suggests, this series of knives is their premier collection.
Each knife is forged from one piece of specially tempered high carbon steel to ensure outstanding strength. The knives, themselves, are distinguished by the dark brown hues of the Grenadill wood on the handle. This is one of the hardest and hence durable woods in the world. In addition, the wood is obtained from sustainable forests.
Whether it is de-boning chicken or ham, trimming fat and sinews, the tapered, pointed blade is perfect for working around the joints.
